What is AI?

Artificial intelligence, or AI, is the science of building machines that can think and act in ways similar to humans. It’s the technology that gives computers the ability to learn, solve problems, make decisions, and even show creativity—all without constant human guidance.

AI agents

AI agents act as intermediaries that allow us to engage with artificial intelligence. They are capable of carrying out sophisticated activities—like processing human language—that traditionally demand human involvement.

Generative AI

Generative AI refers to technology that can produce various types of content—such as text, images, music, or other media—based on a simple word or phrase prompt. Organizations are increasingly applying these tools to handle routine, time-consuming tasks.

Machine learning (ML)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be understood as a collection of related ideas that have been developing for more than seven decades.

Deep Learning

Deep learning is a specialized branch of machine learning that relies on multi-layered neural networks—often called deep neural networks—to mimic the advanced decision-making abilities of the human brain.

Neural networks

A neural network is a type of machine learning model built from layers of interconnected units, often called “neurons.” These units adjust their weights and biases during training, allowing the network to learn patterns in data and effectively transform inputs into corresponding outputs.

Data Science

Data Science Overview

Data science integrates mathematics, statistics, computer science, and machine learning to extract meaningful insights from data. It involves gathering, processing, and analysing data to uncover patterns and trends that help decision-makers make well-informed choices.

AI, ML, Deep Learning & Data science

What are the relations between artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science?

First, we gather and transform data, next step is related to data science when we convert data from one format to another. Then the gathered data is used to make predictions and derive patterns and trends by using ML techniques.

Large Language Models

Large language models (LLMs) are sophisticated AI systems built to comprehend, analyze, and produce text that closely resembles human language. These models fall under the category of deep learning and are trained using vast collections of online textual data. LLMs are capable of handling a broad range of tasks, such as composing essays, generating poetry, writing code, and participating in everyday conversations.

Robotics

Robotics involves designing and programming machines capable of functioning in complex, real-world environments. In many ways, it represents one of the most demanding applications of artificial intelligence, as it draws on nearly every branch of the field.

GPT

Generative Pre-trained transformer.

Back in 2011, IBM’s unveiling of Watson—a supercomputer capable of answering complex questions—was a major milestone in artificial intelligence. At the time, it represented the forefront of machine learning capabilities. However, the landscape soon shifted as researchers in tech companies and academia began developing powerful neural networks capable of learning from vast amounts of data.

Open AI

What is OpenAI?

Founded in December 2015, OpenAI is a pioneering AI research organization with the mission to advance AI for the betterment of humanity. Known for its open-access approach, OpenAI shares its models, tools, and research with the public. This spirit of openness is not only democratizing access to powerful AI tools but also driving significant changes across various sectors.

Three levels of AI

Computer scientists classify artificial intelligence into three distinct categories, reflecting its anticipated development in data analysis and predictive capabilities. These categories are:

  • Narrow Artificial Intelligence

  • Broad Artificial Intelligence

  • General Artificial Intelligence

ASI, Artificial Superintelligence

Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) refers to a hypothetical form of AI that would surpass human intelligence across virtually all domains—ranging from logic and creativity to emotional intelligence and problem solving. At its core, ASI would possess cognitive capabilities far beyond any human, enabling it to think critically, learn autonomously, and potentially become self-aware. emotional intelligence and problem-solving.
